The UAE Updates Cyber Crime Laws

The new cybercrime law took effect on 2 January 2022. The extent of the New Cybercrimes Law’s application has been extended to incorporate the commission of cybercrimes that are ready, arranged, coordinated, regulated, or funded in the UAE, or generally considered to subvert the interests of the UAE or its residents and occupants.

Punishments:
